Welcome

Youthreach Ballina is a centre of education for early school leavers (15 -20yrs) who wish to re-enter the education system. We cater for 40 learners and are located in the town of Ballina with a catchment area encompassing all of North Mayo. Learners from 16 years upwards are eligible for a training allowance. We offer both the Leaving Cert Applied and Junior Certificate programmes.

Of Paramount importance is an emphasis on personal development and all learners are encouraged and supported fully during their time with us. Equally, Literacy and Numeracy are prioritised and along with 1:1 supports, we have a well-stocked library and we follow DEAR (drop everything and read) programme.
